Privacy at WebMade

Last updated October 11, 2026. This covers webmade.io, texting WebMade, and the services WebMade runs for your business. We collect only what we need to do the work.

On this website

• The free X-ray. When you run an X-ray, we receive the web address you type and scan that site's public pages, the same way any visitor would. The scan never submits forms, books, buys or logs in. This site does not save your result; our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
• The Social Cinema Generator. Your business link, the words you type and any pictures you add are sent to WebMade to write and film your order. Pictures that are not attached to a paid order are deleted within 24 hours. A free script preview reads your site's public pages the same way the X-ray does.
• WebMade Touch. A logo you preview on the card stays in your browser; nothing from that page is sent to WebMade until you check out, and the print file is added in My Business afterwards.
• Weby on this site. Weby on webmade.io runs entirely in your browser and answers from our published plans. Your messages are not sent to us or to any AI service.
• Email. If you write to contact@webmade.io, we use your message to reply to you.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Texting WebMade

When you text WebMade's number, Weby, WebMade's AI, reads your message and replies. To answer, your message and recent conversation are processed by our AI service provider. We keep your conversation so Weby remembers you next time, until you ask us to delete it. If Weby can't answer, a person at WebMade may read the conversation and reply.

Your phone number and text messages are never sold, and mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We share messages only with the service providers that deliver them and help us answer (our texting carrier and AI provider), under contracts that limit them to that job. Buying from WebMade

Checkout happens on Square. Square handles your card details under its own privacy policy; WebMade never sees your full card number. To start your build we ask for your business name and one link, and we gather the public information about your business that those point to (hours, services, prices, photos, reviews, contact details) so you can confirm it.

When your business accepts payments through its WebMade site, the money goes to your own Square account. WebMade never sees your bank details.

Running your business

When WebMade runs your site, booking, Front Desk or marketing, we store what that takes: your business details, your bookings and customer messages, and your plan. Your customers' details are used only to serve your business, never sold, and never used to market anything else. Our service providers include Square (payments), Twilio (texts and calls), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (domains) and our AI provider.

Bookkeeping, payroll and connected accounts

If you use WEBY Bookkeeping, you can connect your business bank and card accounts through Plaid Inc. WebMade gets read-only access to transactions and account names. We never see or store your bank login, and we can't move money. Plaid's use of your data is covered by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time in My Business, and we then stop reading new transactions.

If you connect QuickBooks Online, WebMade reads and writes your bookkeeping records there, only to keep your books. If you use payroll through WebMade, it is run by our licensed payroll partner, who moves the wages and files payroll taxes under its own terms. WebMade never holds payroll funds.

We use this data only to provide your bookkeeping, payroll and business reports. We never sell it or use it for advertising. WebMade provides bookkeeping, not accounting, audit or tax advice, and doesn't file tax returns.

Your choices

Ask us anytime what we hold about you or your business, or ask us to correct or delete it, including your text conversation history: contact@webmade.io.

Delete your data

To delete your data, email contact@webmade.io from the address or phone number on your account with the subject "Delete my data". No account or login is needed to ask.

Within 30 days we delete your profile, your text and chat conversation history, your X-ray reports, uploaded pictures and generated media, and any data we received from accounts you connected (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Square, bank or bookkeeping connections). Disconnecting an account in My Business also deletes the data we hold from it. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices and payment records, are kept only as long as the law requires and then deleted. We confirm by email when it is done.
